PHANTOM.
The tactical option.
Where the Nimrod was built to command attention in the light, the Phantom thrives in the shadows. Inspired by the clean lines of classic instrumentation and engineered for the modern purist, the Phantom strips away the noise to focus entirely on form and utility. It isn’t just a watch, it’s a quiet statement of intent.
Born from the rugged field-tested architecture of our debut model, the NIMROD, the PHANTOM evolves the line into an aggressive, mission-ready tactical aesthetic optimised specifically for low-light legibility and absolute durability. Engineered to meet the exact demands of modern adventurers and watch enthusiasts alike, the PHANTOM maintains the clean lines and iconic profile of its predecessor while introducing a highly scratch resistant, sand-blasted matte black case finish, a specialised uni-directional 12-hour utility bezel for tracking a secondary time zone, and an uncompromising approach to illumination. The Phantom launches simultaneously in two distinct, highly visual identities designed around industry-leading C3 compounds.
Dark Geometry.
The Phantom re-imagines our NIMROD case shape through a lens of stark, minimalist contrast. Every texture—from the deeply brushed caseback to the sand-blasted lugs, chosen to catch the light just enough to reveal the architecture beneath, without ever breaking character.
Monochromatic Mastery.
True stealth doesn't sacrifice function. The PHANTOM comes in two distinct variations:
LUNA - Designed for high-contrast visibility, the Luna variant features a striking, fully coated C3 dial. In daylight, it presents a clean, sharp cream-white face framed perfectly by skeletonised black hands. In total darkness, the entire dial surface transforms into a brilliant, glowing beacon of emerald light, offering instant, unmatched legibility at a single glance.
NOX - The Nox variant is the ultimate stealth execution. It features a deep, light absorbing matte black dial with raised, solid multi-layered C3 lume blocks serving as indices. Coupled with heavily coated sword hands, the Nox delivers a powerful, precise geometric glow against an obsidian backdrop, embodying a classic, low-profile military profile
Proportional Perfection.
True to Abinger’s commitment to robust engineering, the PHANTOM features a premium Japanese mechanical automatic movement, a ultra hard sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, a screw-down crown ensuring a dependable 200 meter water resistance rating, and a custom tactical FKM strap with matching DLC hardware.
Unlike the NIMROD, the PHANTOM will be assembled in the UK. Giving Abinger the flexibility to streamline after sales, processes and control QC on all PHANTOM models

After naming the NIMROD, and looking into future naming conventions. We knew that this iteration had to have some connection to our first model.
The NIMROD was an aircraft used in the RAF. After some searching, we discovered the XV582 “Black Mike”. This was a legendary blacked out F-4K PHANTOM. This was used as a display aircraft for the remaining 50 hours of its flying life.
